How does YEAY work for brands?
Are you a brand in need of on-demand user-generated content (UGC)? YEAY is your solution. With our Campaign Manager, you can easily set up collaborations with content creators in less than 5 minutes. Share the details of the content you need, target the right creators, and set budgets for videos and social media posts. Only creators that fulfill your requirements can view the collaborations on the YEAY app, join them, and submit the requested content and social media post link within a maximum of 48 hours. Creators are only paid on delivery.
What types of content can be created through YEAY?
While YEAY is focused on video, the type of content is up to you. This can be anything from promotional videos, explainer videos to tutorials or educational videos. In addition, you can set up a budget for social media posts, so that creators can earn more for posting the video on their social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter).
How do brands set up targeting?
Brands can establish specific criteria for their target audience, such as language, social media follower count, age, and gender. You can also select the type of creators that can see the collaboration opportunity, either "verified creators" or "all creators." Verified creators are influencers with a larger reach that have been personally vetted by YEAY. When working with verified creators, you have the option to review and approve creator requests before allowing verified creators to submit a video. "All creators" refers to any creator on the platform, and for these creators, you are required to review and approve videos before the creator can earn a reward and post a link to the social media post.
How do brands set their budgets?
On YEAY, brands can set budgets for videos and social media posts, and it is up to the creator to decide whether to accept the budget and join the collaboration. Therefore, it is recommended to set budgets that align with industry standards and are not disproportionate. Only creators who meet a brand's targeting requirements will have the option to earn by posting on certain platforms. Some creators may see a variety of options for social media posts, while others may only see one or a few. Regardless, creators are only able to submit a link for one social media platform. Any remaining budget that is unused, due to creators not delivering will remain on your account for the next campaign.
How do content creators join collaborations?
Creators that fulfill your targeting requirements can view your collaboration on the platform, review the details, and decide if they want to join. Once they join the collaboration, they need to submit the requested content within a maximum of 48 hours.
How are content creators paid?
Content creators are paid instantly after the delivery of the content or social media link.
Can brands work with multiple creators?
Yes, brands collaborate with multiple creators. Brands set a submission limit, which means that only that amount of creators can join a collaboration. When a creator joins, a “seat” is taken in the collaboration and the creator enrolls.
Can brands review the content before it is published?
This depends on your collaboration settings. Content approval is mandatory for collaborations with “all creators”, while content approval is not available for collaborations with “verified creators”.
Can brands report content from verified creators?
Yes, you can report the content submitted by verified creators, if the content fails to meet your brand's requirements and the guidelines specified in the collaboration. Once reported, the creator is notified and has 24 hours to submit a new video. Creators who fail to address reported issues and resolve them are suspended from the platform. It is important for both brands and creators to maintain a smooth collaboration experience.
